Up your cooking game part 1

I thought we would try something a little different for this post and throw out a few general tips that will hopefully make you more comfortable in the kitchen.  I believe that the inability of most people to put a halfway descent meal together has nothing to do with skill level but more just how uncomfortable many people  seem to be in the kitchen.  I grew up around cooking so it is hard for me to relate but for many of you this may be your first real attempt at trying to become more proficient in your kitchen.  In this new series I am going to focus on what I think is most important in helping you become a better cook.  Let’s get started shall we…

White Bean Chicken Chili

Fall is definitely here.  I love me some summer but I do grow tired of it after a while.  Just in time for fall to arrive bringing with it colder weather and the need to vary up our meal plans.  For me fall and winter are all about soups, stews and chilis.  I make them once or twice a week when the weather turns cold and they are always a hit around the house.  This is my wife’s personal favorite.  White bean chicken chili.
